Bass Pro Shop
« on: January 02, 2008, 06:43:04 PM »
I went to a nice BP Shop today, and would encourage anyone thinking about it to do the same. My purchases include:

Plastic Matchsafe (Camping)

50 White Nylon 1/4" Rope

2 P-15s

180 Waterproof Matches (4 Bpxes /  45)

Then we went to a bookstore and I got "Basic Wilderness Survival Skills" by Bradford Angier
See you on the trail!

Verry Cool!
Complain less, breathe more.

It isn't until man is quiet that nature will speak.

In the silence and solitude of the night is when you truely find yourself.

tsegura, that is wonderful!  I give my dad a Bass Pro gift certificate every year for his birthday in February so he'll be all set for springtime fishing.

That's a good book SD.
Run when you have to, fight when you must and rest when you can.

I hope I'm never in a survival situation; I may just like it's simplicity and decide to stay there.
