A big buck we spotted through the fog on our way to Dewey Lake in Washington state.



Our lunch (grouse) that day, not sure how it's head fell off though...  :angel:

Just judging by spread or the ears, I'm guessing it's a mule deer.

Today, I have had to sit for hours deciding which photo matched the criteria most closely.  In all honesty I wanted to pick a few of them, but one caught my eye as an up close and personal shot of a wild animal.  The clarity was excellent and showed the most detail of one individual animal.  Some shots were absolutely stunning and one of a kind but ......... just did not have the look I wanted.  This is a text book shot.

This is the photo I chose.
