Very cool pictures Swede!
Complain less, breathe more.

It isn't until man is quiet that nature will speak.

In the silence and solitude of the night is when you truely find yourself.

Does that mean that a person from Kentucky counts if we take his picture here in Indiana?

Hmmm. I guess that when I take animal pics they're usually in some artistic context, so I don't have any really nice shots of moose and such, like the other talented photographers on the site.  These are some of my favorite ones, so I thought I'd submit them, for fun...

An iris by itself?  No, adjust your eyes a bit and you'll see what nature does to protect it's wee critters.

Don't know the species of this guy, except every time I got close to him, he spread his wings to expose the eye spots on them.

A dead Racoon. I thought it symbolic how he was laying amid the trash in the creek bed.

A narcistic duck.

And I believe my little friend here is a beaver.

Help me out here, what is he? cause I've got no idea otherwise.  I thought muskrat, tho his tail is flat, but it's really narrow.  I couldn't get a pic of his face to confirm anything.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Muskrat range (native range in red, introduced range in green)

The muskrat or musquash (Ondatra zibethicus), the only species in genus Ondatra, is a medium-sized semi-aquatic rodent native to North America, and introduced in parts of Europe, Asia, and South America. The muskrat is found in wetlands and is a very successful animal over a wide range of climates and habitats. It plays an important role in nature and is a resource of food and fur for humans, as well as being an introduced species in much of its present range.
The muskrat is the largest species in the arvicoline subfamily; which includes 142 other species of rodents, mostly voles and lemmings. Muskrats are called "rats" in a general sense because that they are medium-sized rodents with an adaptable lifestyle and an omnivorous diet. They are not, however, so-called "true rats", that is members of the genus Rattus.

See now, every muskrat I've seen has a round tail, like this one.  The other little guy's is flat.  Also, the tip of his tail was round like a paddle , not pointed.

BTW the little guy was just a juvenile if that matters.

Here's a different angle of his tail;
