I don't think he's doing the metal coins, too expensive.

Oh, the wooden coins are cool, I just collect coins so if you were going to do the others I was going to get a couple of them too.

Swede is correct. I'm getting some prices put together to start an order for metal, trackable (trackable at geocaching.com) geocoins with the "wildsurvive" logo. Be patient, this may take a little while and also, I would like all those interested to let me know if you'd be willing to buy some. I'm trying to keep costs reasonable at around $6 - $8 a piece. If there is ANY profit (unexpectedly) from this I plan to put that $ into the WS account and that way, if these coins move fast, we can have another series of them made in the future and use that $$ to pay for them.

They can do a hundred with this design>

They got a standard stamp for the back>

>

Eric,

I am attaching a quote for 100 coins with only one die side.  However, we do have a standard die that you can use for the other side at no additional charge.  It has a place for the tracking information, so we wouldn't have to try and squeeze that in on the front.  I am attaching a copy of the artwork for that.  Please let me know what you think.

You can use color on the coin.  You are able to use up to 10 colors on each side with no additional charge.

Please let me know if you have any questions, or if you would like to move ahead with this coin project.

Thanks,
Sara

We will also be happy to work with Groundspeak to arrange tracking on your behalf.  Here is a summary of the Groundspeak charges for 100 codes:

100 Groundspeak tracking codes   $150.00

Our quotes are valid for 30 days. We make our coins with a copper or bronze base metal, not zinc, to ensure the highest quality.   Please let us know if you need your coins for an event or specific date. Please be aware that securing permission for the use of trademarks or copyrighted material is the responsibility of the customer.

Thanks!

It costs another 150 dollars to have them tracked. Too much. We dont need them tracked any how. This is just for advertisement. If they want to tell us they found it they can come here and tell us.

We can pick some colors for the front. Maybe a brown boot print.

Swede,

Do you remember what company this one was? They are a bit cheaper than the one I'm dealing with now.

Rocky

I'll be finalizing the design for the trackable coins this week. As soon as a design is accepted I'll post it here. Right now the coins will be between $6 or $7 a piece and $3.50 for shipping whether you want 1 coin or 20. I'm ordering 100 coins, and the next 100 (if the first batch moves well) will be slighty cheaper since I won't have to pay for the die fees again. These coins will be trackable on geocaching.com and will have thier own icon on the geocaching web page.

Ok, well here is the preliminary final design. Gimme some feedback, good, bad or indifferent. Otherwise, I'm going to run with this one....

I think the @ is kind of weird.... I'm sure they can put two and two together without the at symbol

it should be more of a motto and not just a message telling you to go here.
