Here is my entry-

Bush Breakfast Mix:

-1 Egg - .10
-Chedder Cheese- 1.50
-2 Slices of Ham- .15
-1 Potatoe- .25
-Minced onion- .5
-Mrs. Dash- .5
-Salt- .5

-1 Instant oatmeal packet- .25

-Hot Cocoa Mix- .15

Price total- Around $2.50

Food Prep Time- 5 Minutes

Food Cook Time-20 minutes (When done correctly)

This will feed 2 people, so double amounts for 4.

Here is everything I used to make the meal:

First I got my fire going, Firesteel with dryer lint.

Then I sliced up my potatoes, I made them into hashbrowns.

Wait until the fire dies down to coals (I made the mistake of cooking with some flames so it burnt a bit).  Then place your skillet that has been oiled overtop of the coals, with the hashbrowns inside.  Then cook for awhile until slightly tender, not quite brown and then add your egg and some minced onion.  After the egg cooks add your ham (tear it up).  Then stir together and add cheese.  Let this all brown, and mix together.  Also set my coffee pot to the side to boil up some water.

Then add Salt and Mrs Dash, and serve.

I also boiled up some water to make hot cocoa, and made up a packet of instant oatmeal, it was a very filling meal!

Thanks, it tasted great, even with the few burnt spots.  This was my first time trying it out over the fire and I was very happy with it!

A little burnt tatse is alright in the woods...just more flavor. Interesting recipe, looks good in the end. So...since this feeds two.... who did you invite to breakfast?

Awesome looking "skillet" SK. But how did you get the bubbles in the cocoa to form like that?  Nice finishing touch!

Looks dam tasty there SK and thats some good results over an open fire. Kinda like cowboy cooking. Mist is right the burn just adds to an outdoor meal. Good job.

Like Swede said earlier, feeds 2 normal people, I eat twice as much as most people (normal people) if your feeding 4 hungry teens, quadrouple it.

As for the bubbles, they were just there, I boiled the water, added the mix, and stired then took the picture.

Thanks folks!
