Doomsday Preppers - National Geographic Channel
« on: January 20, 2012, 11:23:43 AM »
I saw this new series advertised on the National Geographic Channel, starting on February 7, 2012.  It looks interesting, but I hope they don't focus on the extreme cases for dramatic effect.

There does seem to be some interesting information (in videos) under the "Prepper Tips" section.

I believe this is the second one they did. You can find the first one on YouTube. It was ok. They had some cool stuff......not alot of learning stuff. Buys good watch.

New season starts in November.  Revamped shows on now - kind of a remix of some of the segments from last season.

Any idea if they'll be online?  This and walking dead are the only two shows that I watch religiously, and I don't have the channels for either lol.

Not sure on Doomsday.  I was going to buy the season pass on iTunes for Walking Dead.  I don't watch a whole lot of TV, but I do like that show.  I could record Doomsday and burn it to DVD for you.

I wonder what ever happened to that one fella from Tennessee who was declared mentally incompetent, and they came in and took all of his guns?  I can't remember his name but he did a LOT of YouTube videos and demonstrated the "tactical waddle".

Wasn't he the one that was blasting away and his pants fell down?

I'll just have my brother DVR it at home for me.  Thanks though!

Found his name, David Sarti.  He has a number of YouTube videos about prepping and what happened to him:
