Small Off Grid Cabin Build
« on: November 06, 2016, 06:17:13 AM »
Well I started my cabin build. Here is a little information on my plans and progress. The cabin will be 12x14 with a 6 foot wide front porch. There will be a small loft for a sleeping area. I am building a small wood stove out of a 30 pound propane tank. Here is a picture of this weekends progress.

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.-henry David Thoreau

That looks like where your fire pit is.
I hope the war on terror goes better then the war on drugs and the war on poverty
If you dont care where you are your never lost
Im a survivor not a victim
Its not who I am but what I do that defines me.

Its about 10 feet behind the fire pit Swede. I should be able to sit on the porch and still enjoy a fire without worrying about setting the cabin on fire.

I may act civilized, but that's just it, an act. Scratch the surface, you find a predator, harm those under my protection, it will be better to face your worst nightmare.

It is finally starting to look like a cabin now.

Cool.
Well we’re gathered together, at the sunrise of never,
To bring witness to the good big sky

Yah jokers, ya con men, ya real estate salesmen
To bring witness to the day we all die

Wahhhhh, wah, wah-wahh wah-wahh- waaaaaaaaaah
